OCTOBER. (no scares yet.)

Look up the worst song in the world, everyone says it's a masterpiece, right? Now look up your favorite song in the universe. The comments look exactly the same don't they?
WE ARE ALL LIVING IN AN ECHO CHAMBER AND NOTHING IS REAL ANYMORE.

"If you love someone, set them free; if they come home, set them on fire."

I have never had a romantic interest buy me a meal. One of these days I wanna be treated like a high class sorta lady. Because, hell, I AM a high class sorta lady. Aren't we all? Let's all get together and buy eachother a meal.

In other news: I've been thinking of switching to only white shirts for my everyday life, I love how clean they make my closet look, and it will give me a challenge in the form of keeping them white. I wonder how the people who only own white shirts get by? Certainly not dry cleaning every month I hope.

I am content with very little now, because I shouldn’t really have anything at all. A few times I came close to death and I am only here on account of extreme chance. Or this is the most boring post death dream anyone could have. Why am I broke in my dreams? Anyways yes, possessions are, in my opinion, worth the exact same with me as they are with anyone else, and laying claim to anything is a bit silly, like when the americans asked to buy Manhattan from the indians, and the indians said "Yeah sure, do you want to buy the sky as well?" What a lovely bunch. Too bad I am writing this standing on their graves.

OCTOBER MORNINGS:

Okay as most of you know, I am a man of EXTREME habit. So every morning lately I have been cleaning my floors with peppermint essential oil, and oh boy is it fun. Very easy as well because I have next to nothing on the floors and they are all hardwood.

In a lot of zen temples they spend the first bit of the morning cleaning, and I think it’s a wonderful way to start the day. Plus the peppermint and tea tree blend I use both wakes you up with the strong scent, and keeps bugs away, which is nice because I get a TON of spiders in my room, I often wake up with one on me, and it’s not that I mind terribly, but I don’t want to accidentally roll over on one while I sleep or something, so they must take the other rooms in this house. I am sorry roommates, it’s not you it’s me.

Speaking of the temples, I really want to go back. I used to be there 5 days a week, but It’s been maybe two years since I have even seen my home temple. Even though I’ve spent that time researching Buddhism and visiting tons of temples, I don’t think I have any good questions at the moment. Though my home temple is about hands on teaching, not so much intellectual teaching, so I think they will be glad. I used to be ask so many questions when I was younger, oh man, my poor teachers.

Words I enjoy:

Every chance you get, you seem to hurt me more and moreBut each hurt makes my love stronger than beforeI know flowers go from rainBut how can love grow from pain?Ain't that peculiar (Ain't that peculiar) A peculiar-ality

Not relevant to my life atm at ALL, but I have always thought this song has some of the finest lyrics ever written. I love writing lyrics, pop lyrics specifically, I think they have a certain magic that no amount of intellectualism can touch, but they often inspire an intense feeling. Rain by Ella Fitzgerald is a good example of the feeling: the only word in the entire song is ‘Rain’ but it has a deeper more mystic sadness than any book I have read, the opposite example would be ‘In Walked Bud’, the version on Underground by Thelonoius Monk, I think it’s the last track? But no matter who you are, you know there is something being said here. Very rebellious and very bold.

AHAHAEHEE

Yours truly,
Quatro

P.S. hey everyone. bye.
